HOME HEALTH AUTHORIZATION SPEC
Job SummaryThis position is responsible for obtaining pre-certifications and pre-authorizations as well as re-certifications and re-authorizations for Home Health Care Services.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities ( Essential Functions) Manage the patient insurance authorization process required for ongoing services that are being requested this will include phone or online submission.
Ensure submissions are complete with all required information.
Must include:
Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong written and oral communication skills.
Basic computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
EducationAll post high school education must have been obtained from a recognized College or University.
Additional education or experience may be substituted requirements on a year for year basis should the substitution not conflict with State or Board certification/license requirements.
