POSITION
Summary:
This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources department in coordination with other support staff.
Maintains and manages the front desk in HR and maintains the schedule Training room.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
(These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position) Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department on a daily basis.
This includes, but is not limited to answering phones, assisting internal and external guests, setting appointments, filing, preparing documents & paperwork, running reports, escorting candidates to appointments, & ensuring up to date information is available for our Team Members.
Assist other members of the Human Resources Department with assigned projects and various events.
Assists HR Specialists with various functions within the applicant tracking system, i.
e.
, checking for completed New Hire Paperwork, following up with new hires to schedule for verification appointments and scheduling BI.
Responsible for executing the communication needs of all HR areas in a timely manner.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all data and information.
Provide timely and courteous internal guest service to Team Members of all levels.
Assist with other new hire related functions.
Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
Attend seminars when needed.
Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Perform work regularly and adheres to all Indiana Gaming Regulations.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis) High School Diploma or higher and 1 or more years of work experience in Human Resources or other professional environment.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
(Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.
):
Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission.
Must successfully pass background check.
Must successfully pass drug screening.
Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
Excellent telephone etiquette is also required.
Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.
KNOWLEDGE OF:
Office procedures, methods, and equipment including computers and applicable software applications such as word processing, email, spreadsheets, and databases to include excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
ABILITY TO:
Present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.
Present information and speak publicly to groups.
Skill in developing successful working relationships with management and peers within department and outside of the department.
Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted during work.
