Talento Search Group has an opening for a Manual & CNC Lathe Machinist within an Industrial setting in Gary, Indiana.
This is a direct-hire position and the pay rate is from $21-$27 per hour (unless a journeyman), depending on experience.
This is a 1st shift position.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
Program and Setup CNC equipment for production operationsRepair tools, fixtures, and diesPerform preventive maintenance on machineryPerform changeovers on equipmentTroubleshoot and repair machine breakdownsPerform manual lathe work, bandsaw work, and operate CNC lathesExperience Needed:
At least 3 years of recent machining experience is preferredAbility to make parts and repair tooling using mills and lathes, need experience with CNC Mazak Lathe or CNC Bar TOSStrong experience with setting up CNC machines and operating them for productionExperience with drill presses, manual mills, and manual lathesMust be able to read blueprints, use dial calipers, micrometer, depth gauges, and scalesAbility to perform shop math and ability to read schematicsAbility to rig heavy machinery and equipment for use with overhead cranesAbout Talento Search Group:
